We're getting married! ♥ ♥
Saturday May 29, 2027 • Durango, CO
Christian's great grandfather served as the pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Durango, the same church where we'll be saying "I do." Christian's grandfather Marvin also baptized him there, and Marvin also officiated many other marriages in our family in this same church too. Colorado is also where our story began, and thus it is illegal to get married anywhere else but in the mountains.
While our families are spread across all across the map - Denver, Cincinnati, New Orleans, and beyond - we hope to fill Durango with everyone who's loved, supported, and shaped our lives.
We are so excited to celebrate with you! We know that traveling to Durango will take more time and cost than a local wedding in Denver or Cinci, and we absolutely understand if it's just not in the cards. We deeply appreciate everyone who is able to make the extra effort out. Your presence means the world to us, and we can't wait to share this beautiful part of Colorado with our favorite people.
The easiest way to get to Durango is to fly into DurangoβLa Plata County Airport (DRO). The airport offers flights from several major hubs including Denver, Phoenix, and Dallas/Fort Worth.
Other airport options include:
We recommend renting a car, most major rental car companies operate out of the Durango airport.
Uber is generally available. Sunshine Rides is the go-to taxi service in Durango, you can schedule these ahead of time too
There are lots of lodging options throughout Durango, from hotels and vacation rentals to cozy cabins and bed & breakfasts. We recommend booking early, as May is a popular time to visit (also the same weekend as a 3 day international bike race, the Iron Horse)
Durango is full of adventures, including:
Aiden and Christian will be in Durango for the whole week prior to the wedding. If you can come in early and are interested in doing any of these things with us along with friends and family, details to come!
Please let us know if you can make it.
